Development and application research on the high formability and fine grain 510MPa grad hotrolling automobile steel plate have been carried on in the paper. Depending on the results of FEA for rolling and hotsimulation test, the formation cause of mixed grain and deformed elongation grain is analysed. The way to avoid themixed and deformed elongation grain and the technology for producing the high strength and high formability platewere suggested. The results show that using deep under cooling rolling of austenite can effectively avoid producingmixed grain and deformed elongation grain as well as microcrack in the surface and can improved cold bending forma-bility. Based on the deep under cooling rolling theory, the compositions of alloy for 510MPa grad hot rolling plate wasdesigned and using suggested rolling technology for CSP line produced 510MPa grade automobile plate which behavesgood combination of strength and elongation. It can be punched complex form cross member for engine.
