通过高温熔融法制备了Ho3 +/Tm3+共掺杂的Bi2 O3-SiO2-A1F3-BaF2 (BSF)玻璃.分析了基质玻璃Bi2 O3-SiO2-A1F3-BaF2的声子能量和热稳定性;根据808 nm激光二极管激发下的荧光光谱,得到了Ho2 03和Tm2 03的最佳掺杂浓度,详细分析了Ho3+和Tm3之间的能量转移机制;利用Judd-Ofelt理论计算了Ho3在2 μm处的各项光谱参数.结果表明:基质铋硅酸盐玻璃具有声子能量低、共价性强和热稳定性高的性能.Ho3在铋硅酸盐玻璃中2.0μm处的最大发射截面为δe=1.25×10-20 cm2,Ho3:5I7能级的理论荧光寿命为4.065 ms,实际测量值为3.447 ms.这些优异的性能表明了Ho3+/Tm3+共掺的铋硅酸盐玻璃可作为2 μm激光候选材料.

Bi2O3-SiO2-A1F3-BaF2 (BSF) glasses co-doped with Ho3+ and Tm3+ were prepared by high temperature melting method.Raman spectra and thermal stabilities were measured,fluorescence spectra under the excitation of 808 nm diode laser were measured,the optimum doping concentration of Ho3 +/Tm3 + and energy transfer processes between Ho3+ and Tm3+ were analyzed.Absorption spectra were measured and three intensity parameters Ω2t of glasses were calculated based on Judd-Ofelt theory.Results indicated that bismuth-silicate glasses had low phonon energies and good thermal stabilities.Absorption and emission cross sections were calculated,the maximum absorption cross-section σa =1.14 x 10-20 cm2 and maximum emission cross-section σe =1.25 × 10-20 cm2,Ho3+:5I7→5I8,theoretical and measuredfluorescence lifetime 4.065 and 3.447 ms respectively.Hence,bismuth-silicate glasses co-doped with Ho3+ and Tm3+ are a sort of promising 2 μm laser material.
