After the extraction of safety pillars in the open pit of Fujia Mine,the residual orebody contacts the fill-ing body which takes the place of main orebody,forming a triangular ore pillar. The paper designed a full-scale room and pillar mining method according to the advantages of full-scale mining and room mining methods and applies it to the extraction of triangular ore pillars. The method is verified in the process of ore pillars extraction. The paper elucida-ted the layout of stope preparation work of full-scale room and pillar mining,the stoping process and the technical pa-rameters. Practice proves it meets the production requirement of ore pillars extraction in Fujia Mine,and is economical-ly and technically feasible,safe and reliable. At the same time,the method is worth referring to by sill pillars extraction in other mines.
