The exhausted high temperature and pressure cyanide-free desorption electrolyzer deployed in the oredressing plant of Sifang Gold Mine has underlying safety problems.To deal with that,the desorption electroyzer is renovated and updated,steel fibers are replaced by imported cathode screen from America,and the manual feeding is replaced by the manner of self-flow.The renovation not only solves safety problems but also reduces labor intensity.The diameter altering is still adopted of carbon discharge pipes,ensuring timely solution of plugging.The area of the plates is increased by 89 ％ and the desorption rate by 2.69 ％.The process index is steady.
