The effects of the electro-convection in bent-core nematic (BCN) liquid crystals(LCs) are demonstrated.Because of the unique V shape structure, the electrical transport parameters of the BCN LCs are very different from that of traditional rod like(LC), which can lead to the non-standard electro-convections.We systematically study these new behaviors via changing the frequency, amplitude, polarity of the driving electric field and the temperature.
