当前对于磁制冷的研究主要致力于磁性材料(包括提供外场的磁体和磁制冷工质)性能的提高, 而缺少对磁制冷循环本身的试验研究和理论分析. 主动式磁回热器(AMR)是室温磁制冷机的核心部件, 了解其热力学特性和工作原理对制冷机的设计以及优化具有重要意义. 对一些典型AMR制冷机的性能参数进行了比较, 并系统地介绍了AMR的特点和工作原理, 适用于AMR磁工质的理想热力学特性, AMR循环的数值分析方法以及AMR所特有的不可逆损失.
