壳聚糖的N-乙酰基葡萄糖胺组成成分为糖胺聚的结构特征,而明胶则为胶原的部分变性衍生物,由其开发的生物材料呈现和前体相当的生物活性. 本文综述了壳聚糖-明胶基生物材料的最近进展,包括用壳聚糖-明胶网络基生物材料制备膜材料、支架,且作为表面修饰剂用于组织工程. N-烷基化壳聚糖用作DNA释放的非病毒载体. 这些生物材料在皮肤、软骨、骨组织工程和基因治疗方面呈现良好的应用前景.
