通过交流伏安法,发现碱性体系中镍电极在很负的电位下有非常规的法拉第电流响应.根据金属水合氧化物催化理论,电流响应是由镍表面缺陷处原子氧化成镍的水合氧化物引起的,由于其起始电位与次亚磷酸根氧化的起始电位相同,所以认为镍的水合氧化物是催化次亚磷酸根氧化的真正物种.
