For the requirements of wear and corrosion resistance,this paper summarizes the research for the repairing or modifying automobile parts by plasma spray coating.It focuses on the application of plasma spray coating on automobile engine.The optimization of plasma spray coating is discussed according to the application situation of automobile parts.
