采用粉末冶金法中的叠层法在2000℃,40MPa的热压烧结条件下设计制备了B4C组分含量变化范围为10%~50%(质量分数)的B4C/C功能梯度材料(FGM).同时,为了深入考察B4C/C FGM各叠层的性能,在相同的工艺条件下,制备了对应不同叠层的B4C/C均质复合材料.性能测试表明随着B4C含量的增加,对应B4C/C均质复合材料的密度、强度、电阻率、抗氧化性等性能均呈现单调递增的趋势;同时B4C/C FGM整体表现出低密度和高弯曲强度特征,分别可达2.16g/cm3和138MPa.SEM图和XRD特征曲线表明B4C/C FGM梯度特征显著,抗氧化实验表明B4C/C FGM的抗氧化性也呈现比较明显的梯度变化特征,有望作为抗等离子体、单壁抗氧化等领域用材料.
