以粒度为~2μm,5~20μm,100~200μm的焦炭颗粒,粒度为~1μm的石英砂粉体为原料,采用微波加热合成了碳化硅粉体.在1600℃下保温30min,反应能完全进行,合成产物中β-SiC的含量达到98%以上.得到的SiC粉体具有与焦炭颗粒近似的颗粒尺寸.研究表明,微波加热具有节能快速的优点,能显著地促进反应的进行.

SiC powders were synthesized through the reaction between coke and quartzite by microwave heating. The results show that full conversion can be achieved at 1600℃ for holding 30min and the content of SiC in the reacted powders is higher than 98%. SiC powders were synthesized from coke powders with diameters of ~2μm, 5-20μm, 100-200μm, which have similar particle size with the starting coke particles. The microwave-assisted synthesis is fast and economical, and can significantly promote the reaction.
