采用数值模拟的方法对电磁净化中间包内钢液的流动特征进行了模拟研究.结果表明:旋转室内的钢液在电磁力作用下产生水平旋转流动,促进了夹杂物的碰撞、聚合及上浮;旋转室的旋转切向出流以一定角度进入分配室内,所形成的偏流引起钢液流动的非对称性,易在分配室内形成水平环流状流动特征.分配室内设置T形坝控流装置可减轻流场结构的非对称性,分配室内的流动更为均匀.
