介绍了在熔炼过程产生的硬α夹杂对钛及钛合金产品的巨大危害及其来源,综述了去除硬α夹杂的机理,评价几种分解及溶解去除硬α夹杂的方法及其有效性,认为冷床炉熔炼有着去除硬α夹杂的热力学及动力学条件,是目前去除硬α夹杂最有效的方法.
