采用金相显微镜、扫描电镜、差热分析等手段,研究了不同含量的Sr变质对ADC12合金显微组织和力学性能的影响.实验结果表明,Sr的加入降低了该合金的共晶温度,较大程度地改善了合金的组织及性能.当加入0.05%(质量分数)的Sr时,组织中的α-A1相和共晶硅相均得到了明显的细化,树枝状的初生α-A1相已基本被打断,晶核数量增多,形貌为近球状,尺寸变得更加细小,而共晶硅相则呈细小弥散分布的纤维状,此时合金的综合力学性能较佳,其抗拉强度达到269.54 MPa,延伸率达到3.21%,分别比基体合金提高了47.48%和65.46%,并且合金材料断口上解理面变少,韧窝数量增加,形貌变小、变深,分布也较为均匀,表现为明显的韧性断裂.
Microstructures and mechanical properties of ADC12 alloy with different Sr additions were studied by optical microscopy,scanning electron microscopy and thermal analysis in this article.The experiment results show that the addition of Sr not only caused a depression of eutectic temperature but also improved microstruc-ture and property of the alloy.α-Al and eutectic silicon phases could be refined significantly when 0.05wt% Sr was added to the alloy.And it was found that Sr was capable of breaking down the primaryα-A1 phases,giving rise to an increment in the number of crystalline grains,the morphology of crystalline grains became mainly near-spherical shape,the size was tended to be finer,the morphology of eutectic silicon phases was fibrous.un-der the circumstance,comprehensive mechanical properties of ADC12 alloy were better,the tensile strength and elongation reached 269.54 MPa and 3.21% respectively,increased by 47.48% and 65.46% than those of the matrix respectively,and cleavage surfaces of the alloy were lessened,the dimples were increased in quantity, diminished in size,deepened in the morphology,the characteristic of ductile fracture was obvious.
