镀银玻璃纤维因具有良好的导电性能而广泛应用于电磁屏蔽材料.本文对3-巯丙基三乙氧基硅烷(KH580)改性的玻璃纤维表面进行化学镀银,利用银离子与巯基发生配位反应制备了镀银玻璃纤维导电材料.利用电化学工作站测量镀层玻璃纤维单丝电阻率.结果表明,KH580浓度较低时,因难以形成完整的单分子层膜其电阻率较高,而 KH580浓度过高时,多层组装膜呈现的疏水性会阻碍银层的形成,也会增加电阻率.当KH580浓度为2%时,镀银层均匀致密,超声清洗表明镀层结合牢固,其电阻率最低可以达到7.2×10-7Ω.m.

The Silver-coated glass fibers were used broadly as electromagnetic shielding materials due to the ex-cellent conductivity.After modified with 3-mercaptopropyltriethoxysilane (KH580),glass fibers were coated with silver with the electroless plating method due to the chelation reaction of mercapto group with Ag ions. The glass fiber filament resistivity was measured by Electrochemical Workstation.Results showed:because it was difficult to form single molecular layer film with the low concentration of KH580,the resitivity of fiber is high.However,when the concentration of KH580 was too high,it raised again as a result of hydrophibic of multilayer assembly films which prevent the forming of silver layer.Therefore,when the concentration of KH580 was 2%,the plating of glass fibre was dense and uniform,and the ultrasonic concussion confirmed fur-ther that there was a high fastness adhesion between the silver coating and glass fibers.Electrical resistivity of as-prepared fiber was only 7.2×10-7 Ω.m.
