介绍了大型原油储罐的发展现状及其用钢腐蚀性能研究的必要性,阐述了原油储罐在使用过程的腐蚀特点和沉积水对原油储罐所引起的严重腐蚀,分析了沉积水的成分特点和腐蚀机理;结合我国原油储罐具体使用情况,说明海水腐蚀研究对大型原油储罐用钢腐蚀性能研究的参考作用;在总结碳钢和低合金钢海水腐蚀研究方法和相应研究成果基础上,提出了大型原油储罐用钢腐蚀性能研究的思路和方法;最后指出大型原油储罐用钢腐蚀性能的研究意义及其重点.
