生产低污染的汽车是政府与汽车、燃油、催化剂工业共同的目标.贫燃柴油车连续工作在富氧条件下,要求采用专门的尾气后处理系统.铂基催化剂能在低温和贫燃条件下还原NOx,但N2O形成量尚须降低;铜基沸石催化剂有高的还原活性和 100%N2的选择性,但稳定性不够.一种尾气后处理系统已经商品化,它用铂基催化剂氧化尾气中的NO为NO2,再在钒、钼基催化剂作用下用NO2催化氧化细粒物料,使捕集器连续再生.目前,开发一种不需要NO2,能在低温下燃烧烟炱的催化剂是柴油车尾气后处理技术的主要难题.
