由于钕铁硼粉末冶金永磁材料孔隙多、质脆、密度大且性能活泼,对电镀工艺及设备有特殊的要求。微孔中的残留溶液会腐蚀基体和镀层,引起粉化、脱皮,须进行封孔处理。电镀工艺中的封孔、振光、除油、酸洗等工序必须添加缓蚀剂,且低温封孔,以避免过腐蚀。滚镀时,要求滚筒装载量偏小,开孔率偏高,转速偏低。同时确定了钕铁硼永磁体电镀镍自动线工艺流程及工艺规范。

Special requirements are demanded for electroplating process andequipment of neodymium-iron-boron powder metallurgic permanent magnet, because of its property activity, brittleness, high density and porosity. The residual solution in porous will corrode the substrate and electrodeposit, leading efflorescence and peeling. Therefore sealing treatment was necessary initially. Corrosion inhibitor must be added in sealing, sanding, degreasing and pickling to avoid over-corrosion, and sealing should be operated at low temperature. In barrel plating, less barrel load, more barrel holes and lower barrel rotation were recommended. Automatic nickel electroplating process and operating conditions of neodymium-iron-boron permanent magnet were also set up.
