镀锌钢的高耐蚀性主要跟电偶作用有关.当部分锌层受到损坏而暴露出钢铁基体时,在同一平面上构成双金属偶对.基于相应的理论模型,可以用保护距离和电偶电流两个参数来定量描述电偶保护的程度和锌镀层的消耗率.作为这一理论的应用实例,讨论了暴露的钢的宽度、锌的表面活性以及环境条件的影响.最后把这些理论结果跟实验测试数据作了比较,发现相当符合.
