香蕉形非手性液晶分子是近年来新发现的一类特殊的具有电光性能(铁电性、反铁电性)的液晶分子,这类分子由于具有独特的弯曲形状,表现出不同于棒状分子的液晶性能,尽管分子本身不含手性基团,但其极性排布形成铁电性(反铁电性),而且有很高的自发极化值.对已发现的铁电性(反铁电性)香蕉形化合物希夫碱类、酯类等的分子结构、特性及研究状况做了详细介绍.
