在普通的手持显示设备中,降低背光亮度可以减小系统功耗,然而同时会导致显示图像的亮度和对比度下降,影响显示画质.通过分析TFT-LCD和HVS(Human Visual System)的特征,提出了一种在低背光状态下的图像增强算法,可以在较低背光亮度下通过补偿图像的亮度和对比度来增强图像的显示效果.所提出的算法可以根据图像的具体内容选择不同的补偿方式,与同类算法相比,补偿后的亮度值更高.实验结果表明,所提出的算法可以提高图像亮度,改善图像显示效果,从而能更有效地降低系统功耗.
