比较了目前超薄投影显示光学系统的特点,设计了使用于激光显示的超薄投影镜头组.系统的投影距离为100 mm,画面尺寸为157 cm(62 in),采用TI公司的20.3 mm(0.79 in)DMD芯片作为空间光调制器,系统由1个非球面反射镜和5 片透射镜片组成.从软件模拟结果看,系统成像质量良好.该设计对元件的加工、装调工艺要求较低,有利于降低投影系统的整体成本.

The merits and the shortcomings of several popular kinds of surface type light valve in marketplace were compared according to the characteristic of laser display. Adopting the feature of laser display and comparing the characteristics of current ultra-thin optical projection display systems, an ultra-thin lens for laser TV was designd. The projection distance is 100 mm, the screen size is 157 cm(62 in). Using TI's 20.3 mm(0.79 in) DMD chip as spatial light modulator, the system is composed of a aspherical mirrors and five refractive lens. It is showed from the simulation results that the imaging quality of the system is good. It has lower request for components processing and alignment in the design.
