介绍了基于PWM的LED亮度控制方法,分析了数字LED屏设计的难点和关键技术,重点讨论了LED屏扫描控制器的设计,提出了一种基于FPGA的实现方法.实验证明,使用该方法设计的LED扫描控制器结构灵活、性能优越,可以满足室内外彩色LED视频显示的要求.

The brightness control method based on PWM is introduced. The difficult prob lems and key technology of digital LED screen are analyzed. The design of scanning controller for large scale LED screen is discussed, and a solution of scanning controller based on FPGA is proposed. The experiment results showed that the structure of the newly-designed scanning controller was flexible, its performance is excellent, and the LED screen controlled by this scanner is suitable for indoor and outdoor video display.
