以Co、Sb、Fe及La为起始原料,采用放电等离子烧结(SPS)技术原位反应合成了填充式方钴矿化合物LayFeCo3.0Sb12(y=0~0.4).实验结果表明,在y = 0 ~ 0.3组成范围内,P型传导的LayFeCo3.0Sb12化合物为试样中的主晶相,并伴有极少量的Sb相;当Fe含量固定为1.0时,La的饱和填充分数达到0.3.在填充分数小于最大填充分数时,填充化合物的晶格常数随La填充分数的增加而增加.LayFeCo3.0Sb12化合物的电导率和热导率随着La填充量的增加而降低,Seebeck系数随着La填充量的增加而增加,功率因子随温度升高而升高.填充分数为0.3时,La0.3FeCo3.0Sb12化合物有较高的热电性能,其中在773K时具有最大的热电优值(ZT值)0.56.
