为了研究Nd:GGG激光晶体圆盘在热容运行模式下的温度场分布及变化问题,根据实际情况建立物理模型进行了分析.从热传导微分方程出发,通过格林函数法求得激光器工作、冷却阶段晶体内部温度场的解析解,在一定程度上可以反映温度场的变化情况.数值计算了矩形LD光斑尺寸3 cm,泵浦功率8100 W、脉冲频率500 Hz、脉冲宽度0.2 ms条件下泵浦4 s后圆盘的温度场以及变化曲线,得到4 s末的最大应力已经达到晶体断裂极限的47%.采用280 K、290 K的温度分别对圆盘进行背面冷却时,需要60~70 s左右的冷却时间;当采用280 K对圆盘进行背面和侧面同时冷却时,冷却时间缩短到30 s左右.
