The early stage failure of insulation for AC inverter-fed motor results from a common effect of various factors such as parital discharge, space charge, dielectric heating, electromagnetic shock and vibration, etc. At designing of the insulation structure of an AC inverter-fed motor,it is necessary to choose the corona-resistant wire and insulating materials and low volatile solvent-less resin,so as to form “gap-less insulation”to improve the integrity of insulation structure. Now our works has initiated manufacturing of AC inverter-fed motor and its market prospect is very promising. The insulation performance of AC inverter-fed motor can basically meet operating requirement of users.Compared with similar products abroad, however, the domestic wire and insulating materials for AC inverter-fed motor have much leeway to make up.From now on,we should devote major efforts to the researching and developing work in this respect, and conduct the testing research work concerning the life assessment on insulation structure of AC inverterfed motor.
