用反应硼化烧结法在1290℃±5℃下真空烧结成功制备出三元硼化物基硬质覆层材料YF-1,其表面硬质覆层的硬度可达82-90HRA.用扫描电镜(SEM)、X射线衍射(XRD)和电于探针(EPMA)对YF-1的显微结构进行了分析,结果表明:表面硬质覆层材料主要是由三元硼化物基硬质相和铁基粘结相组成,硬质相Mo2FeB2是在真空烧结过程中原位反应生成的;硬质覆层和基体Q235钢的界面为一较大区域,界面结合良好.对YF-1进行的磨损试验表明此种覆层材料具有优异的耐磨性.
