5182铝合金经过表面机械研磨处理(SMAT),可以克服铝合金表面性能的不足,提高铝合金材料整体性能,延长使用寿命.采用X-射线衍射仪(XRD)及显微硬度、单轴拉伸等测试方法,研究了使用表面机械研磨处理后5182铝合金的显微组织和力学性能特征.经过SMAT处理后的5182铝合金,其表面晶粒细化至纳米级,且沿试样表面到芯部方向形成纳米梯度结构;其板材的整体硬度都有一定的提高,且沿板材试样表面到芯部方向形成了梯度下降的状态;随着表面机械研磨处理时间的增加,5182铝合金的抗拉强度和屈服强度强度也随之提升,但在一定程度上牺牲了合金的塑性.

Surface mechanical attrition treatment (SMAT) can overcome the shortcomings of the surface properties of aluminum,improve the overall performance of the material,and prolong service life,therefore,this work was carried out on 5182 aluminum alloys subjected to SMAT.Using X-ray diffraction (XRD),micro-hardness and uniaxial tensile test equipment systems,the authors study the characteristics of microstructure and mechanical properties of 5182 aluminum alloys with different grain sizes after SMAT.The surface grain of the 5182 aluminum alloy was refined to nanoscale after SMAT,and the gradient nanostructure was formed from the surface to the core of the sample;the overall hardness of the sample had a certain increase and it decreased in a gradient trend from the surface to the core;the tensile strength and yield strength of the 5182 aluminum alloy were increased,but the plasticity was sacrificed to a certain extent with the increase of the treatment time.
