The supported precious metal catalysts have been used in many industries, such as bulk chemicals, polymer, gas purification, pharmaceuticals and specialty chemicals, because of their high activity and selectivity and stability under various reaction conditions. Some preparation methods and wide variety of industrial applications of supported precious metal catalysts were introduced. Supported precious metal catalysts play very important role in our lives, not only unique properties of precious metals but also advanced preparation technology allow us to use supported precious metal catalysts for wide range of applications.
