以3,5-二硝基溴苯与对甲基苯酚为原料,合成出中间产物3,5-二硝基-4'-甲基-二苯基醚,再用钯/碳还原得到芳香二胺单体3,5-二氨基-4'-甲基-二苯基醚,以此芳香二胺和四种不同芳香二酐为单体,通过低温聚合反应合成了高分子量的聚酰胺酸,热亚胺化的产物在极性强的溶剂中具有较好的溶解性.差示扫描量热(DSC)和热重法(TG)测试表明其玻璃化转变温度(Tg)介于200℃~211℃,在氮气气氛中5%,10%的热失重温度(Td)分别在520℃,535℃以上.力学性能测试表明这些可溶性聚酰亚胺薄膜的拉伸强度,弹性模量分别能达到154.19 MPa,2.85 GPa.
