以ZrO2和Cr2O3混合物为原料,采用直接电脱氧法在CaCl2熔盐中制备出纯相的ZrCr2储氢合金.研究了极片烧结温度、电解电压、熔盐温度、电解时间等工艺参数对电解过程的影响.采用XRD、SEM手段探讨了电解产物的组成与形貌;采用动电位扫描法结合热力学计算探讨了合金的生成机理;并利用粉末微电极循环伏安法测试了ZrCr2合金的电化学性能.结果表明,ZrO2-Cr2O3极片在CaCl2熔盐中900℃、3.1V电压下电解15 h可得到ZrCr2合金.电脱氧过程中,Cr2O3首先还原为单质Cr,ZrO2或CaZrO3在单质Cr表面还原,形成ZrCr2合金.所制备的ZrCr2合金具有很好的电化学储氢性能.
