A kind of bisquaternary ammonium salt (BQA)was synth esized .Its inhibiting behavior on mild steel in hydrochloric acid medium was in vestigated by means of weight loss and polarization methods.The results indicate that BQA is an excellent corrosion inhibitor for mild steel in hydrochloric aci d.
