热轧态奥氏体钢4Cr14Ni14W2Mo氮化层的剥落倾向与接受氮化的表面在原棒材的取向有关。发现本试验钢料的晶粒中存在大体上呈平行排列的位错墙,而且不同晶粒的位错墙也大体上呈同向顺列的排布。当接受氮化的表面与这种位错墙近于平行时,在该表面上将形成易于剥落的厚的白亮氮化层。

The tendency of spalling of the nitrided layer of the hot rolled austenitic steel 4Cr-14Ni14W2Mo exhibits close relation to the nitrided surface orientation relative to the rolled steelrod It is found that the dislocations in the imperfactly recrystalized steel align as parallel dislo-cation walls in macroscopic extent, and the thickness of "white sublayer" in the nitrided layeris much larger at the surface which is parallel to the dislocation walls. At such surface spallingof the nitrided layer happens often.
