以宁夏无烟煤为原料,采用KOH活化法制备高比表面积活性炭.首先考察了煤与KOH的混合方式对活性炭比表面积的影响,发现采用操作简单、省时的物理混合方法得到的结果优于浸渍法;然后以物理混合法为前提,考察了KOH与煤的比例、活化温度以及活化时间对活性炭比表面积和收率的影响.实验表明采用物理活化法,在氮气流量200 mL/min的情况下,制备高比表面积活性炭的最佳活化条件为:KOH与煤的比例为6∶1,活化温度为800 ℃,活化时间为1 h;在此条件下可以得到以微孔为主,比表面积为2706 m2/g的活性炭.
