以MgO为原料、RECl3-KCl-MgCl2为电解质,熔盐电解法制取Al-Mg-RE三元合金.结果表明:RE是由Al直接还原得到,而Mg是由电解得到的;可制得RE含量为0.8%~1.2%,Mg含量为1%~4%的三元合金;电解温度在720℃~780℃之间,电流效率随电解温度的升高而升高,电流效率最高可达到81.3%,但超过780℃,电流效率随电解温度的升高而降低;电流密度在0.8 A/cm2时电流效率最高,过低或者过高的电流密度都可以降低电流效率;电解过程中基本上不产生Cl2.
