合成了液晶单体4-烯丙氧基苯甲酸胆甾醇酯(M_(ch))和单体4-十一烯酸苯甲酸(M_c),通过硅氢加成反应得到了系列侧链液晶聚合物P_0~P_5.通过差示扫描量热(DSC)、偏光显微镜(POM)、旋光分析等手段对聚合物的液晶性能和相行为进行了表征,结果表明,含羧基的单体M_c(P_1~P_5)与不舍羧基的单体M_c(P_0)的聚合物相比,玻璃化转变温度(T_g)、比旋光度和清亮点(T_i)均明显降低,但是没有改变原聚合物的胆甾相类型;随M_c在液晶聚合物中摩尔百分数的增加,T_g继续降低,而T_i升高.M_c的引入拓宽了液晶聚合物的介晶区间.

A series of side-chain cholesteric-liquid crystalline polymers (P_0~P_5) containing carboxyl group were synthesized by graft copolymerization with 4-allyloxybenzoylcholeseterate (M_(ch)) and 4-( 10-undecen-1-yloyloxy) benzoic acid (M_c). Their mesomorphic properties and phase behavior were investigated with differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), polarized optical micrograph (POM) and optical rotation measurement. The results show that T_g, T_i and specific rotation decrease comparing polymers (P_1~P_5) with carboxyl group and polymer (P_0) without carboxyl group obviously, however, the type of cholesteric liquid crystalline phase is not changed. The T_g decreases continuously and T_i increases with increasing the content of M_c in polymers. The liquid crystalline phase range expands in the presence of M_c. in the polymers.
