采用分散聚合法制备水包水聚丙烯酰胺乳液(CPAM),通过光学显微镜研究发现,丙烯酰胺(AM)和甲基丙烯酰氧乙基三甲基氯化铵(DMC)在聚合时经历了"成核-核生长"两个阶段,CPAM以大小约690nm的球形颗粒分散在乳液中。CPAM对高岭土污水絮凝实验表明,在酸性条件下,CPAM絮凝剂絮凝效果优于中性或碱性体系,其絮凝机理是通过高分子架桥和电中和起作用。

Water in water polyacrylamide emulsion(CPAM) was prepared by dispersion polymerization.The morphological change of CPAM in dispersion polymerization process was caught by optical microscope.It is shown that the polymerization of acrylamide(AM) and 2-methylacryloylxyethyl trimethyl ammonium chloride(DMC) experiences processes of the nuclear formation and the nuclear growth.The particles size of CPAM emulsion is about 690nm and it disperses in the form of spherical shape in the emulsion.The flocculating effect of CPAM on kaolin suspensions shows that CPAM has better flocculation capacity in acidic condition than in the neutral or alkaline condition.The flocculation mechanism of CPAM is the action of bridging and electrical neutralization on kaolin suspensions.
