在金属布氏硬度试验国家标准第一部分:试验方法中,有关选择压头球直径(D)和试验力压头球直径平方的比率(0.102 F/D2)的说明如下:试样厚度至少应为压痕深度的8倍; 0.102 F/D2应根据材料硬度值来选择;试验力的选择应保证压痕直径(d)在0.24<d/D<0.6之间;当试样尺寸允许时,应优先选用直径为10 mm的球压头进行试验。文章根据上述规定,通过实验分析,探讨了一种在实际测试时选择0.102 F/D2值及压头球直径D的具体方法。

In the national standard of Metallic Materials Brinell Hardness TestPart 1: Test Method, regulations about the selection of the value of D(diameter of penetrator ball) and 0.102 F/D2(the ratio of load to the square of diameter for penetrator ball’s) are given: the thickness of a specimen must be higher than 8 times of the indentation’s depth; the value of 0.102 F/D2 should be chosen according to the material of the specimen and its’ Brinell hardness; the value of load should be decided on the basis of the indentation’ diameter ranged over 0.24<d/D<06; the penetrator ball of 10 mm in diameter is the preference. Based on the above description, a detailed method about the selection of the value of D and 0.102 F/D2 in testing are discussed.
