采用连续电镀法制备镀镍碳纤维,以提高碳纤维的电性能和开发新型电磁防护材料。通过扫描电镜、冷热循环法、四探针法和电子万能试验机,对电镀不同时间后镀镍碳纤维的微观结构、结合力、体积电阻率和力学性能等进行表征。结果表明,镍镀层与碳纤维之间结合紧密;随电镀时间延长,镍镀层厚度增大,导电性改善;镀镍碳纤维的力学性能较镀镍前略差。较适宜的电镀时间为4 min。

Carbon fiber was electroplated with nickel continuously to improve its electrical performance and develop a novel electromagnetic shielding material. The microstructure, adhesion, volume resistivity, and mechanical properties of the carbon fiber after nickel plating for different time were characterized by scanning electron microscope, thermal shock test, four-point probe resistivity measurement, and electromechanical universal tester. The results showed that nickel coating adheres tightly to carbon fiber. With the prolonging of time, the nickel coating becomes thick and has improved conductivity. The mechanical performance of the nickel-plated carbon fiber is slightly worse than that of unplated carbon fiber. The suitable plating time is 4 min.
