以苄氧基封端的甲基丙烯酸-2-(二甲氨基)乙酯和甲基丙烯酸甲酯的两亲性嵌段共聚物BzO-PDMEAEMA10-b-PMMA10和BzO-PDMAEMA30为乳化剂,在酸性或中性条件下进行苯乙烯的乳液聚合.分别考察了溶液pH值、乳化剂用量及类型对乳液聚合的影响.利用透视电镜研究了聚合物粒子的大小及分布.实验结果表明,使用两亲性乳化剂,单体转化率高,反应速率快,乳液粒子大小均匀且粒子较大.同时,随pH值增大,聚合速率及转化率均增大,乳液粒子分布更加均匀;随乳化剂用量增加,聚合速率及转化率增大,但乳液粒子变小.
