以苯乙烯和二乙烯苯为共聚单体,乙醇为反应介质,聚乙烯吡咯烷酮为稳定剂,偶氮二异丁腈为引发剂,油红G为染色剂,甲基丙烯酸为电荷控制剂,采用分散聚合法制备了聚合物电泳粒子.测定了聚合物电泳粒子的密度、电泳淌度、染料包裹率和粒径分布等性能.通过红外光谱、扫描电镜和热重分析等手段表征了聚合物电泳粒子的化学结构、表面形状、粒径及粒径分布和热稳定性.通过复凝聚法制备了包含聚合物电泳粒子的电子墨水.结果表明制备的聚合物电泳粒子密度为1.07g/m3,可与分散介质匹配.油红G包裹率为69.96%,聚合物电泳粒子呈粉红色.聚合物电泳粒子固体状态下粒径为1.0μm~1.5μm,分散状态下粒径为1.0μm~2.0μm,分布狭窄.电泳淌度为-0.03942m2V-1s-1,聚合物电泳粒子在微胶囊内具有可逆的电泳行为,可用于电子墨水.
