Failure analysis has been made for a tube sheet of a condenser with X-ray diffra ctometer, scan electron microscope(SEM),optical microscope, and chemical analysi s.Failure of the tube sheet was caused by sulphuric-acid dew corrosion.Measureme nts of improving are also proposed.
