The effect of enhancing the polarity of matrix and adding compatibilizer on the compatibilization of polypropylene/phosphate glass(PP/TFP) composites was studied by scanning electron microscope(SEM),dynamic mechanical analysis(DMA) and mechanical analysis etc.The experimental results show that the size of disperses TFP particles decreases from 10 μm to 2 μm and the complex viscosity increases more when PP-MAH replaces PP as the matrix, indicating that the interaction between TFP and PP-MAH is better than that between TFP and PP. The complex viscosity of the composites increases further when PAM15 is added as the compatibilizer. The glass transition temperature of matrix moves to high temperature by 5 ℃.The elongation at break of these composites increases linearly with increasing the content of PAM15.
