采用碳热还原法,在氩气气氛下1750℃保温1h制备出ZrB2粉体,反应物ZrO2、B2O3和C物质的量比为1:1:10,其中ZrO2以凝胶形式加入,ZrO2凝胶通过NaBH4滴定ZrOCl2溶液制备,C分别以活性炭和炭纤维形式加入,聚乙二醇(PEG)作分散剂,乙醇作为混合介质.用XRD、SEM和EDS分析方法对所得粉体进行了表征.结果表明,用活性炭作为还原剂制备的ZrB2,颗粒细小、均匀,平均粒径在80nm左右,粒子为球形;用炭纤维作为还原剂制备ZrB2粉体,由于炭纤维活性差,反应不彻底.

ZrB2 powder is prepared by the reaction of ZrO2 gel and B2O3 at 1750℃ for 1h with active carbon and carbon fiber as reductants and PEG as dispersant.The reactant ZrO2 gel is obtained from titration of NaBH4 and ZrOCl2.The particles are characterized by XRD,SEM and EDS.It is concluded that uniform ZrB2 particles of 80nm size with spherical structure have been synthesized via active carbon powder,whereas the particles reduced by carbon fiber are ununiform due to unreacted fibers.
