Corrosion behavior of copper in a simulated of rainw ater Stockholmarea was studied by electrochemical impedance spectrum and polariz ation curves.The corrosion process of copper in the simulated rainwater was main ly controlled by the electrochemical process at first when there was alittle cor rosion product on the surface of copper.With the formation of corrosion product, the galvanic corrosion occurred on the surface of copper between different areas without and with corrosion product.The corrosion product on the surface of copp er played a cathodic role in the galvanic cell.
