综述了近十余年来关于金属的微生物腐蚀研究方面的 文献，包括对腐蚀机理的认识，国内外所取得的研究结果，对微生物腐蚀的防治方法等.
This paper initially reviews the mechenism of microb iologically influenced corrosion on metals with emphasis on electrochemical aspe cts. And then it introduces some research results on MIC at home and abroad for the last ten years, and also discusses the present situation related with the st udies on prevention to MIC too.
