纳米TiO2作为典型的光催化材料一直受到人们的广泛关注,实现TiO2可见光响应的方法包括贵金属沉积、半导体氧化物复合、过渡金属或非金属掺杂以及表面染料敏化等,这些改性方法分别通过阻止光生电子-空穴的复合、窄化带隙、合理的价带匹配等措施提高光催化效率,其中掺杂是改善TiO2催化性能较简便且有效的方法.对有机-无机杂化材料的进一步器件化以及在生命科学领域内的应用探索将是有机功能化表面修饰研究方向的未来热点.
