An acrylic resin was prepared by using the self-prepared phosphate functional monomer.The prepared resin exhibited good aluminium-fixing effect even if not using aluminium-fixing additives.The effects of initiator type and amount,solvent,glass transform temperature,molecular weight regulator and methyl propylene functional monomer on the properties of the resin were discussed.The effect of phosphate functional monomer on the properties of film and its mechanism was discussed particularly.The thermoplastic acrylic resin prepared by this method has excellent overall performance.
