Based on the configuration of CGL(Continuous Galvanizing Line) 1 in Shougang, the multi-purpose annealing simulator was used to investigate the influence of strip speed, heating temperature and rapid-cooling end temperature on the mechanical properties of hot-galvanized dual phase(DP) steel. The research results show that increasing the strip speed can increase the cooling rate and decrease the residence time of strip in equilibrium stage, therefore it is benefit for the mechanical properties of DP steel. It is necessary to ensure good mechanical properties of DP steel that the strip speed is more than 90 m/min.If the heating temperature is too low,it will lead to insufficient strength of DP steel, whereas excessively high heating temperature will result in lower elongation and hardening exponent.Heating to and soaking at 800 ℃ can get better comprehensive mechanical properties of DP steel.Increasing the rapid-cooling end temperature, the tensile strength and work hardening exponent of DP steel decrease significantly. If the electric heating in equilibrium stage can ensure the galvanizing temperature, reducing the rapid-cooling end temperature is conducive to obtain good mechanical properties of DP steel.
