EFFECT OF SnO_2 ADDITION ON THE SERVICE LIFE AND ELECTROCHEMICAL PROPERTIES OF Ti/IrO_2,+Ta_2O_5 ANODES IN PHENOLSULFONIC ACID SOLUTION

Service life of two different oxide anodes in phenolsulfonic acid (PSA) solution was investigated by accelerated electrolysis. The durability of Ti/IrO_2+Ta_2 O_5 anode increased by the addition of SnO_2 in the mixed oxides. The degradation mechanisms of Ti/IrO_2+ Ta_2 O_5 and Ti/IrO_2 +Ta_2 O_5 +SnO+2 anodes were different. It was shown from the observation of scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and the electrochcmical measurement that, the deactivation of Ti/IrO_2 + Ta_2 O_5 anode was due to the build-up of an organic film on surface. The growth of the covered film on surface was restricted by addition of SnO_2, which resulted in increasing of the service life of anodes. The over-potential for oxygen evolution on Ti/IrO_2 +Ta_2 O_5 electrode increased after doping SnO_2, and the intermediate products of PSA building-up on the surface was much more rapidly oxidized. Meanwhile, a certain part of the surface oxide deposit entered into the solution leading to loss of oxides, which resulted in degradation of Ti/IroO_2 + Ta_2 O_5 anode containing SnO_2 component.

X70管线钢J1d和K1a与V型缺口Ak关系研究

在不同温度下测试了X70管线钢动态断裂韧度K1dJ1d和止裂韧度K1a以及夏氏V型缺口冲击韧度Ak,对三者的关系进行了分析.结果表明:温度和加载速率都对断裂韧度产生影响;加载速率变化引起的韧-脆断裂转变具有热激活特征,在热激活分析基础上,在应力强度因子速率K=15 MPa·m1/2s-1条件下,得出断裂韧度、止裂韧度和冲击韧度三者的关系:Ak=4.84×106T-2.8K1d(或K1a).可以用小试样Ak数据计算得到K1d和K1a.

The effect of epoxy coating containing emeraldine base and hydrofluoric acid doped polyaniline on the corrosion protection of AZ91D magnesium alloy

Corrosion Science

Corrosion protection of epoxy coatings containing emeraldine base polyaniline (PANI) or hydrofluoric acid doped PANI on AZ91D magnesium alloy were studied by EIS and Pull-Off Adhesion Test. The results indicated that the addition of emeraldine base PANI or hydrofluoric acid doped PANI could improve the corrosion resistance of epoxy coating. The epoxy coating containing hydrofluoric acid doped PANI had the best performance of the corrosion protection among three systems under investigation. The corrosion product film was analyzed by XPS indicating that PANI changed the chemical structure of the corrosion film. The protective mechanism imparted by PANI was discussed. Spin waves in a four-sublattice Heisenberg ferrimagnet or ferromagnet with different exchange constants (J(ab)=J(cd)not equal J(bc)=J(da))

The Hamiltonian for a four-sublattice Heisenberg ferrimagnet or ferromagnet with different exchange constants (J(ab) = J(cd) not equal J(bc) = J(da)) was established. An extended Bogoliubov transformation was developed by solving an equation group, consisting of 20 equations and 20 unknowns. The procedure for solving the equation group was carried out by introducing a simple way of reducing the numbers of the equations and the unknowns. The spin-wave spectra in the present system have been determined by performing the standard Holstein-Primakoff transformation and the Bogoliubov one. It has been found that the spin-wave spectra of the present system depend on the exchange constants and that the degeneracy of the spin-wave spectra remains. The results for a special case (J(ab) = J(bc)) i.e., an antiferromagnet are discussed briefly. The spin-wave spectra of the four-sublattice Heisenberg antiferromagnet are found to be degenerative also and they are linear in k for small k.

微微型节流制冷器在微小元件和制冷应用中有广阔的前景.本文通过对搭建一微型压缩机驱动的微型混合工质节流制冷器系统,取得初步结果.该微微型J-T节流制冷器采用3D打印技术,通道特征尺寸为0.1 mm,突破了传统机械加工的极限.通道深宽比达到8:1.初步实验表明,微微型J-T节流制冷器达到了230 K温区.由于采用微型压缩机驱动,系统结构紧凑,可在便携生物储存设备、低温医疗以及电子器件冷却等领域应用并能长期运行.

Study on the Relationship Between J-Integral and COD

J-integral and crack opening displacement δ(COD) were important parameters for characterization of fractures in engineering materials. The relationship between J-integral and COD has been investigated for a long time and was enerally represented as J = m σyδ, where σy is the yield strength and m is a function of specimen geometry and material properties. To determine the value of m, extensive studies and experiments have been performed. The method that used the fracture-surface topography analysis (FRASTA) for determining J-integral from fracture surfaces of materials was introduced. On the basis of the relationship between COD and fracture surface average profile, the relationship between J-integral and COD was deduced and compared with the generally used equation. The method was experimentally confirmed to be able to provide a new way to determine the relationship between J-integral and COD.

Corrosion protection of AZ91D magnesium alloy with sol-gel coating containing 2-methyl piperidine

Progress in Organic Coatings

Sol-gel coatings were prepared using 3-glycidoxypropyltrimethoxysilane (GPTMS) and tetraethoxysilane (TMOS) as precursors, diethylentriamine as curing agent. Inhibition effect of 2-methyl piperidine on AZ91D in 0.005%, 0.05% and 0.5% (wt.%) NaCl solution is investigated. Potentiodynamic polarization tests revealed that 2-methyl piperidine significantly decreased the anodic activity of AZ91D especially at high concentration. Corrosion behaviors of sol-gel coatings incorporated with 2-methyl piperidine on AZ91D in the Harrison's solution were analyzed using electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS). EIS results showed the corrosion resistance of sol-gel coatings and sol-gel sealed phosphate conversion coating on AZ91D were significantly improved through addition of 2-methyl piperidine. Fourier transform infrared spectra (FT-IR) confirmed that the 2-methyl piperidine was compatible with sol-gel matrix. (C) 2009 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.

浅析CTOD和J积分的关系

推导了CTOD和J积分的关系,并且从试验角度利用三点弯曲试样进行CTOD试验,根据ASTM E1820对GB/T 21143-2014中公式34进行了评价,研究表明,在小屈服范围内,采用裂纹嘴张开位移可以同时得到CTOD和J积分,从而可以简化J积分的试验装置.
